- This test can be requested for any singleton pregnancy, including in vitro fertilization (IVF) pregnancies with egg donors.

disorders.
The Harmony Test, analyses cell-free DNA circulating in the pregnant mother’s blood and is one of
the most widely known and best performing options in
prenatal screening for chromosomal disorders.
The Harmony Test looks to detect the following trisomies: Trisomy 21 (Down Syndrome), Trisomy 18 (Edwards syndrome) and Trisomy 13 (Patau syndrome) and Sex Chromosome Conditions.
The Harmony Test should be used in conjunction with an ultrasound scan. This test can only be requested by a medical physician. The patient results will be sent back to the requesting physician usually within 7 business days upon receipt of sample to the laboratory. Samples are stable for 7 days once blood samples have been taken.
